Tailor made training for investors

Investors also increasingly demand their clients operate in compliance with international environmental and social standards. ASN Bank and Triodos, and other Dutch banks, such as Rabobank, ING, and Fortis Bank Nederland, are increasing their requirements towards clients. Aim for human rights offers training for employees of banks and other financial institutions to assist them in the implementation of human rights within their daily activities.
Expertise
Aim for human rights has experience with training of financial institutions. We developed a tailor made training for ASN employees. In addition to that we delivered a one day training for Fortis Bank Nederland and a workshop on human rights and business for Rabobank. Other financial institutions like ING Bank and Atradius participated in the Human Rights and Business training of Aim and Amnesty International.
Maartje Hermans - Atradius
“I thought the Human rights and Business training was good because of the practical knowledge of the trainers and the participating companies. I was confirmed in my assumption that evaluating human rights on an international level is complicated. The training gave me better insight into how to identify and evaluate information and how to apply knowledge about practical tools. Therefore I would recommend this training to business managers and consultants that operate in the international context.”
Monique Messelink - ASN bank
"I participated in the training together with some of my colleagues from ASN Bank. Apart from environmental issues, human rights are a main issue for ASN Bank. By learning about the ethical basis and the different human rights treaties and conventions I gained more insight in the central role human rights can play for specific companies. The training increased our knowledge level and assists us to further integrate human rights within our work.”
