Other activities

Aim for human rights started the program Human Rights and Business to help companies with the development of vision and strategy on human rights and to put that into practice. Several interactive tools have been developed for that purpose. Besides the development and testing of the tools, the Human Rights and Business program assists and advises companies with the use of these tools. But there is more to it: To raise awareness on human rights issues amongst companies, Aim for human rights (co-)organises a broad range of activities. The focus within these activities is on the specific opportunities, challenges and dilemmas of companies in regard of human rights. The target groups of the activities range from specific to broad: multinationals, SMEs, non-profit organisations and other interested parties. For the purpose of promoting human rights issues to companies in an interesting, practical and inspiring way Aim for human rights uses:

  • unique training methodology and materials;
  • its technical experience and expertise;
  • cooperation with other organisations.

Consultancy and advice on human rights

  • training and knowledge sharing on human rights in general and on more specific human rights issues.

This sector specific training offers small and medium sized multinationals the unique opportunity to generate an advantage on competing companies. The use of the HRCA tools are the central focus of the training together with the opportunities, challenges and risks on human rights within the sphere of influence of the company, and the dilemma of responsibility in the supply chain.
