Project: Zwervers op het Asfalt (Wanderers on the Road)

Zwervers op het Asfalt (Dutch for Wanderers on the Road) is a project that addresses human rights violation throughout the world. April 10 2010, Jasper Hoogers and Ralph van Bemmel, the students from Amsterdam leading the project, will start their journey. With an old Volkswagen van they will travel the world for half a year, visiting projects and partners of the human rights organization Aim for human Rights. During these visits short documentaries will be made. At present the first movie in this series can be viewed online, featuring Aim for human rights.

It is not quite certain yet where the road will lead these wanderers. The Zwervers op het Asfalt are planning to visit several partner organisations of Aim for human rights, but will also be led by the people they meet on the road.

For more information (in Dutch) visit their website www.zwerversophetasfalt.nl or send an email to Aim for human rights. With movies, blogposts and other new media technologies the ‘Zwervers’ pay attention to the work and objectives of Aim for human rights and its partner organisations throughout the world.
