Human rights impact resource centre to be revised

The Human Rights Impact Resource Centre is an online interactive platform that provides access to information on a rights-based methodology called human rights impact assessment. Currently Aim for human rights is updating the Resource Centre.

Human rights impact assessment (HRIA) measures the impact of policies and interventions on human rights, resulting in concrete recommendations that (for example) NGOs can use in their lobby towards governments.

Organisations and individuals can use the Resource Centre to learn about HRIA; to find publications, toolsets and reports; to discuss new developments and best practices; and to contribute their own expertises directly to the growing HRIA knowledge base. The Resource Centre is an initiative of Aim for human rights to promote the use of HRIA worldwide.

In September the revised Resource Centre will be launched. It will contain a renewed guide to human rights impact assessment, consisting of a clear introduction and overview for people who are new to HRIA. The database of organisations, links and resources will be improved. Furthermore the lay-out will be refreshed. The aim is to make the Resource Centre more user friendly for everybody working in the field of human rights impact assessment.

Your opinion is very important to us. Therefore, we would like to ask you to fill in a small questionnaire about the Resource Centre. The results will be taken into account during the improvement process. Please click here to go to the form. It contains four questions, so it will take less than five minutes. Thank you for your time!
