Aim for human rights receives Certificate from Central Bureau on Fundraising
Aim for human rights is pleased to announce the granting of a Certificate of No Objection ('Verklaring van geen bezwaar') from the Central Bureau on Fundraising (CBF) on Februari 1st, 2008. This Certificate is specifically designed for smaller or new institutions. The criteria for the Certificate of No Objection are virtually identical to those for the Seal of approval for larger organisations.
The Certificate provides a guarantee for donors that their donation is being handled responsibly. The CBF has concluded that Aim for human rights' fundraising and communication on fundraising activities is responsible and that sufficient guarantees have been given for future responsible fundraising and spending of funds.
The Central Bureau on Fundraising (CBF) is an independent foundation which has been monitoring fundraising by charities since 1925. The CBF’s task is to promote trustworthy fundraising and expenditure by reviewing fundraising organizations and giving information and advice to government institutions and the public.
CBF is a member of the International Committee on Fundraising Organizations (ICFO).
