Existence Denied - Photo publication on disappearances
The International Coalition against Enforced Disappearances (ICAED), that is coordinated by Aim for human rights, developed this impressive photo book on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the International Day against Disappearances on 30 August 2008. The book has been sent to all heads of state, accompanied by an appeal to sign and ratify the UN Convention against disappearances. 'Existence Denied' shows images from all corners of the world. It bears witness to the huge emotional impact of disappearances.
