Aim for human rights developed this guide to inform about the International Convention for the Protection of People against Enforced Disappearances. This colourful, easy-to-read guide, will be an essential tool in the understanding of the convention and campaign against disappearances. It is available in four languages. ‘Art. 1.1: No one shall be subjected to enforced disappearance’ has been written by experts on the convention as part of the campaign for the ratification of this treaty that the International Coalition Against Enforced Disappearances (ICAED) started in 2007. Aim for human rights is a member and secretariat of the ICAED.
